bassoon Légère Signature Reed medium soft

The Légère “Signature” bassoon reed represents a significant improvement over our original “Classic” bassoon reed design. While the “Classic” reed is direct, stable, and practical, the “Signature” reed is warmer, easier to play, and more responsive—with less resistance and a more open feel at the mouthpiece. It allows for a greater airflow and gives players more freedom in shaping their tone, articulation, and dynamics, while maintaining the consistency, durability, and immediate playability expected from Légère.

For bassoonists who have already tried an earlier Légère bassoon reed and were looking for more flexibility, greater tonal depth, or a wider range of resistance options, the “Signature” reed is worth another try. Available in various degrees of hardness, it enriches the Légère bassoon reed line with an even more refined and expressive playing experience.
