All the experience gained during the development and perfection of the handcrafted professional models has also gone into the design and production of the mid-segment and standard flutes. These flutes are carefully fitted by hand and test played by experienced craftsmen.

It is extremely important for young students to produce beautiful tones quickly and easily and that these instruments are intoned accurately and centered so that their hearing develops properly. These Yamaha flutes help the student to be motivated and make rapid progress.

The flap connections on these models are slightly reinforced to increase durability. All keys are ergonomically adjusted to promote a comfortable, natural grip. The keys are assembled by hand and adjusted evenly with the unique Yamaha adjustment screws and are protected against unintentional loosening. Special markings make it easier for beginners to assemble the instrument. A curved headjoint is available as an option, which allows young students in particular to adopt a comfortable posture.
