Equipped with solid Swiss high alpine spruce and solid East Indian rosewood, the modern dreadnought delivers balanced, loud sounds with deep basses, powerful mids and brilliant overtones. The solid tonewoods make the instrument sound even more precise and dynamic. The cut-solid model is complemented by a cutaway, abalone applications and quality machine heads with ebony wings.

Like every Duke, the D-PF cut-solid is also finished by luthiers in the Swabian town of Tübingen. All Dukes are shipped to the trade with newly dressed and polished frets and ready-to-play string action. This guarantees perfect playing pleasure from the very first chord.

In addition to selected materials such as bone nut and ebony fingerboard, the high-quality standard equipment of every Duke also includes Elixir Nanoweb stringing.
