Baton Rouge chose ovangkol for the 20-fret fingerboard and bridge, while the nut and bridge inlay are made of bone-hard nubone. The bindings are made of black ABS, and the matt chrome tuners with black tuning wings are an excellent match. Durable Elixir strings are fitted ex works.

The discreetly integrated Baton Rouge BR-2P pickup system from Shadow allows direct connection for recording or amplification, with volume and sound control directly on the instrument, of course.
