The CE 24 combines PRS' traditional body combination of mahogany body and maple top with a bolt-on maple neck and ebony fingerboard. The neck features a Pattern Thin Carve and a satin nitro finish for a natural, addictive feel. To further maximize the tone and clarity of the guitar, the CE 24 is equipped with PRS 85/15 pickups, which Paul engineered for remarkable clarity as well as extended high and low end. The electronics consist of a volume control and a push/pull tone control with 3-way toggle switch for a total of six traditional sounds. The original CE was launched in 1988 and offered players PRS design and quality with the added snap and sparkle of traditional bolt-on guitars. The limited edition CE 24 with ebony fingerboard and satin body and neck finish is only available in 50 pieces worldwide.
