St. James is one of Northampton's oldest neighborhoods. The universal power supply is lightweight and can be used anywhere in the world. The built-in reactive load and professional connections make St. James perfect for quiet stages. Completely separate EQ circuits are used for each channel. This is achieved by switching potentiometers with two levels of control, meaning there is no compromise in sound between the two channels, even with shared EQ controls. The Sag setting creates more sag in the power supply to accentuate the all-important amp compression, the feel is softer and more vintage. Cab Rig overcomes the shortcomings of IR snapshots and uses state-of-the-art digital processes to reproduce the sound and feel of a miked guitar cab in incredible detail.

Over 250 mic and cab combinations can be stored in one of three memory slots. Each cab has a choice of mic type and axis, as well as room mics and master EQ. Use the free Architect software for a wide range of additional options.

This 1x12" combo weighs only 12.8 kg. This 6L6 model: Classic US clean and modern high gain amp. Also available as EL34 model: Classic low gain amp with a +10dB clean boost from 'chimey' to 'creamy' and far more. The St. James retains the essence of a traditional tube amp; specifically through the use of pre and power tubes, as well as 'sag' control of the output transformer. The built-in reactive load allows the tubes to be used without a speaker connected. Perfect for recording or the 'silent stage'. Includes Cab Rig, the next-generation Blackstar DSP speaker simulator that reproduces the sound and feel of a miked guitar cabinet in incredible detail.
