The top model of the world-famous Yamaha P Series compact digital pianos offers an authentic playing feel, exquisite sound and further enhanced instrument tones. The piano sounds are world-class concert grand pianos: Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial. The speaker performance as well as the variety and quality of the sounds, including organs and electric pianos, have been significantly improved compared to the previous P-515 model.

The NWX wooden keyboard, highly praised for its feel, has been replaced by the GrandTouch S keyboard with 88 keys. This brings the playing experience even closer to the touch and feel of a grand piano. With the Registration Memory function for saving and recalling settings for live performances, the P-525 is also ideally suited for use as a stage piano. The GrandTouch S keyboard also simulates the sound variations that result from the subtle differences in velocity, touch speed and touch position. The white keys are made of solid wood and their laminated structure makes them resistant to warping and particularly durable. The sound of the CFX is characterized by brilliant trebles and powerful basses, while the Imperial has a warm sound known as the Viennese sound. Despite its compact size, the P-525 offers the complete experience of the different qualities of these two great concert grand pianos.

You can program all the sounds and rhythms conveniently at home and then call them up quickly and easily at the venue. This also makes it easy to switch between sounds in the middle of a performance. Other features include Sound Boost and an adjustable EQ to ensure that the piano sounds its best when playing with other instruments in a band.
