Meinl Drumsticks Nano Sticks

The Nano Sticks were developed for applications where more finesse and precision are desired or regular drumsticks are simply too loud.

The unique slim diameter in combination with the missing stick tip provides extreme definition on ride cymbals and hi-hats with very few overtones or swathes of sound. On drums, they create an attack in the higher frequency range without amplifying the lower frequencies. In addition, these sticks allow you to play a drum kit whisper quiet without losing definition. This means you can pull them out of the stick bag to create certain expressions and tones or to perform within the limits of certain gigs, like in small rooms.

The Nano Sticks were inspired by an idea from Meinl Stick & Brush Artist Arthur Hnatek.
