Rocherolle The Collection

This collection brings together 19 piano pieces by the American composer Eugenie Rocherolle (1936-2025), written during her almost twenty years as an exclusive author for Hal Leonard. Most of the selections were made by the composer herself. Her music is characterized by personal impressions from her hometown of New Orleans, but also from Paris and the picturesque French countryside, which inspired her time and again.

Originally entering the publishing world with choral and wind band music, Rocherolle's pedagogical experience and pianistic flair led her to become one of the leading composers for piano teaching of her generation. Two works - Memories and October Swing - were composed especially for this edition.
