In this version, Ibanez uses an okume body, the light grain of which remains visible thanks to the transparent mahogany brown finish, while the slim neck is made of five pieces of jatoba and walnut with a jatoba fingerboard.

Two Bartolini BH2 pickups take care of the sound conversion, skillfully implementing every nuance of playing with a balanced and defined sound. The active Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band tone control, which offers three selectable center frequencies for the mid-range control, provides additional sound variety. Last but not least, the Ibanez Standard SR500E is equipped with the solid Ibanez Accu-Cast B500 bridge and precise Ibanez die-cast tuners.
