THE FIRST ACCESSIBLE RECORDER The Essential series was developed barrier-free for visually impaired people. When navigating through the menu, acoustic instructions are output via the integrated loudspeaker or headphones. Creative people can choose between English, Spanish, French, Japanese, German, Italian and Chinese. SOUND PRESSURE LEVEL The two XLR/TRS combo inputs feature Zoom's ultra-clean preamps, while the integrated X/Y microphones can handle extreme sound pressure levels of up to 130 dB, equivalent to a rock concert. MIX. LISTEN. RECORD. With the integrated mixer, you can easily adjust the audio level of each track. There is also a waveform display that allows you to see the audio signal during recording. FOR INTERVIEWS AND PODCASTS Podcasters can connect external microphones to the H4essential's XLR inputs for conversation in the studio, while using the X/Y microphones for interviews on the go. COOPLING WITH AN iOS DEVICE Using the BTA-1* Bluetooth adapter, you can pair with your iOS device to remotely start recording, adjust the mix, display waveforms and change other settings. TIMECODE SYNC VIA BLUETOOTH With the BTA-1* Bluetooth adapter, you can also pair with Bluetooth-enabled timecode devices for audio and video synchronization. *Please note: The BTA-1 adapter is not included SOFT-TOUCH CONTROLS For even quieter operation and to minimize hand noise, the controls for recording and the endless controls have been redesigned.
