Description
Guntram Wolf quint bassoon model Fg5 Fagottino G
Based on many years of experience with small bassoons, the company Guntram Wolf, Kronach, has launched a new generation of instruments with perfect playing characteristics.
The featherweight Wolf Fagottini sound full and tune well - from very low to very high - have the same fingerings as normal bassoons and are blown with standard bassoon reeds for authentic blowing characteristics.
Like a normal bassoon, these bassoon reeds are made from sycamore maple and lined with natural rubber. A light embouchure with a normal bassoon reed guarantees a full-sounding, even response from the lowest to the highest notes. The tuning is stable in all registers with the usual bassoon fingering - with piano trigger and F- F# connection.
The quint bassoon sounds a fifth higher than the normal bassoon. It is particularly suitable as a children's bassoon for early instrumental lessons was well as for music schools. Played in treble clef, C parts are played untransposed. It is therefore particularly suitable as a middle voice instrument in any ensemble. Modern bassoon fingerings apply to the bass clef (transposed) and the tenor clef can be read untransposed as bass clef.
A suitable carrying case is included in the scope of delivery.
